An exquisite masterpiece of craftsmanship. The addition of Silver Zari and Meenakari work elevates a standard Chanderi to a “bridal grade” or “heirloom” category.
In the world of handlooms, Meenakari is a labor-intensive technique where colored threads are woven into the zari patterns, making the motifs look like they’ve been inlaid with jewels.
Silver Zari Buti: The “all over” distribution of silver dots or floral motifs provides a consistent shimmer without the weight of a heavy brocade. It keeps the saree looking sophisticated rather than “busy.”
Meenakari Border & Pallu: This is where the weaver’s skill truly shines. By interweaving colored silks (Mina work) into the silver zari border and the “strip” (patti) of the pallu, they create a vibrant, multi-dimensional effect.
Pattu Soft Silk: The use of Pattu (pure silk) ensures a luxurious drape that flows better than a standard cotton-silk blend, giving you a very graceful silhouette.
